The Spoken Word Workshop (running from June 11-July 5) explores the use of performance poetry or spoken word as a tool for actors to develop their own stories and characters, led by renowned spoken word artist Lemon Andersen. The classes will focus on helping students to develop their own performance pieces through the use of writing, voice, movement, and performance techniques. Students will learn how to use performance poetry to create their own characters, monologues, and scenes.
