It’s our civic responsibility.
The Stella Adler Center for the Arts, like hundreds of educational institutions, mandates that our students are fully vaccinated from COVID-19, including the Booster shot when eligible. Accommodations are offered for religious and health reasons. Non-vaccinated individuals may still participate in online courses. Though it is no longer mandatory, the studio also encourages proper mask wearing inside the facility.
Studio Outlook on COVID-19
The policy that has successfully guided us through the pandemic has prioritized providing the safest possible environment according to CDC guidelines and other best practices while allowing students, faculty, staff and the public to engage in person and, when possible, maskless activity.
- The studio continues to require all in-person students, faculty and administration be vaccinated against COVID-19 including the Booster shot when eligible.
- While regular testing for COVID-19 is no longer required, the studio enthusiastically encourages the community to test of their volition. Free COVID-testing is available in dozens of locations across New York City. Those who have health insurance may qualify for free home test kits through their insurer.
- We monitor local infection rates on a regular basis and policies are constantly shifting to keep the community safe and artisticall
y robust. - For NYU Tisch students, please refer to the NYU Policies and procedures for COVID-19-related matters.
