Mr.Goodwin began his career with Price Waterhouse in London. In 1993 Mr Goodwin was headhunted by the UK’s most celebrated leisure & hospitality company – the Rank Group Plc.
At the Rank Group Mr Goodwin was responsible for the day to day management of Universal Studios Florida and worked on financing and developing the Universal Studios resorts in Orlando and Japan. Mr. Goodwin also served on the Boards of Directors of Universal Orlando and Universal Studios Japan.
Mr Goodwin lead the expansion efforts of the world-famous Hard Rock Cafe chain and was the driving force behind the creation of the Hard Rock Hotel in Orlando, establishing the brand firmly in the hotel industry. Prior to joining Kashmir Capital he was the CEO of the award winning Hard Rock theme park. Mr. Goodwin is also founder of the Sara Goodwin Memorial Foundation, a charity supporting the education of young girls worldwide.
