Kate grew up in Chicago’s theatrical community and made her professional stage debut at age 15. She earned a BFA in Musical Theatre at The University of Michigan – Ann Arbor, attended the London Dramatic Academy in the UK studying Stanislavsky and Shakespeare, and holds a certificate in Social Media and Marketing from Northwestern University. Kate’s 20 years of work in New York City ranges from stage to screen, cabaret to Opera, podcast and voice-over to hosting and producing. Broadway credits: First Date (Allison), Hairspray (Amber), Xanadu, Wonderland, Drowsy Chaperone. Tour: Wicked (Glinda, Nessa u/s), Little House on the Prairie (Nellie Oleson, 1st Nat’l). Regionally, she has performed in 28 out of 50 states and Canada. Credits include The Guthrie, Asolo Rep, The Old Globe, Barrington Stage Company, Ogunquit Playhouse, and both the Washington National and Dallas Opera Theatre.
