The Stella Adler Studio has created a new Spoken Word Intensive pilot program featuring classes with the renowned spoken word artist Lemon Andersen held during the day from May 31st – June 10th. Students will first explore character driven poems, working on the art of reading poetry off the page. Then, students will explore the musicality of spoken word – ultimately culminating in the writing and performance of an original spoken word piece driven by contemporary character.
