The Stella Adler ® Technique Intensive

This five-week intensive is ideal for actors who are trained in another technique or approach to acting; also for acting faculty who are as yet unfamiliar with the techniques of Stella Adler. The mission of the school is based on the Adlerian insight that growth as an actor and growth as a human being are synonymous and that insight will be central to this program. In addition to the 30 hours per week of classes, students will go to museums and discuss the history of art with James Tripp, and listen to and learn about classical music with Pianist Sonya Lee. Supplementing the class work and this extracurricular activity will be documentary footage of Stella Adler, Harold Clurman and the Group Theater as well as lectures and Q and A's from students of Stella Adler herself including, Kate Mulgrew*, Mathew Modine*, an others pending their availability.

Admission Information
Admission to the Summer Technique Intensive is by entrance interview. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
Applicant must submit the following:

3. A $35 non-refundable application fee (payable to Stella Adler Studio of Acting, Inc)
