Online Summer Conservatory – CANCELLED for 2022

One of the most popular summer programs in the nation now has an online study option! The Online Summer Conservatory gives actors, no matter where they live in the world, a chance to experience this rigorous foundation-building course that highlights the core curriculum of our Professional Conservatory and NYU Tisch School of the Arts program. Study with the world-renown faculty of the Stella Adler Studio and Art of Acting Studio through the live video platform, Zoom. We find the growth demonstrated by the end of the ten weeks palpable, deeply encouraging and an affirmation of our belief that “growth as an actor and growth as a human being are synonymous.” This is a 10-week, 22-hour-per-week intensive.

Acting Technique – 5 hours
Scene Study – 3 hours
Voice & Speech – 4 hours
Shakespeare – 2 hours
Movement – 4 hours
Improv – 2 hours
On-Camera Acting – 2 hours

Admissions Information
The Online Summer Conservatory has been cancelled for the Summer of 2022. Admission to the Online Summer Conservatory is by entrance interview. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older. Applicant must submit the following:
- A completed Online Application Form
- Headshot (Photo) and Resume (CV)
Once the studio receives the submitted application and supporting materials, an associate will contact the applicant to schedule the interview. Interviews will be conducted through Zoom Video Conference.
International Students: Yes! International actors can apply as long as they intend to do the entire program online. If they plan on entering the US, they should apply for the in-person Summer Conservatory where they can study on an F1 Student Visa.
