In accordance with Stella Adler’s words, the Stella Adler Studio has created an advanced-level intensive which endeavors to illuminate modern realism through the lens of its greatest practitioner. Ms. Adler loved and valued actors versed in modern realism, who could deliver rich text often in opposition to what was intended. The course is centered on Chekhov Scene Study, supplemented by daily physical and vocal work. Offered in the summer only, this is a five-week, 30-hour per week intensive designed for the advanced actor.

Admission Information
Admission to the Chekhov Intensive is by interview and audition. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
Applicant must submit the following:

2. Headshot and Resume
3. A $35 non-refundable application fee (payable to Stella Adler Studio of Acting, Inc)
